The Cox's Bazar Sea Beach is one of the most beautiful divine gifts of God. This world's longest natural sea beach was a wonder to its discoverer and now it is a heaven to beach lovers, ideal places for sea surfers, attractive destinations for holiday makers, prominent places for the honeymoon couples and new dreams for the travel business owners.

Total area of this world's longest and widest sandy beach is more than 125 kilometers which is totally unbroken. It is located in Cox’s Bazar District (a district in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh near the border of Myanmar) and 150 kilometer south of Chittagong. At the past the Cox’s Bazar was also known as Panowa and Palongkee. The modern Cox's Bazar got its name from Captain Hiram Cox (1760 - 1798), who was an army officer of British India. In general this district is known as the tourist capital of Bangladesh. The annual average temperature of this sea city Cox's Bazar is between 34.8 °C and 16 °C.

More than 125 kilometers of golden sandy beach, surfing the sea waves, a huge number of lofty cliffs, delightful and delicious seafood’s, Saint Buddhist temples, adorned pagodas, pontifical scenery of sunset at afternoon and lots of world class hotels and resorts make this city as traveling paradise to the tourists from all over the world.

Inani Beach: This Elysian sea beach is the part of world’s longest sea beach Cox’s Bazar and situated 32 kilometers far away from Cox's Bazar city. There is a lush green hills rising up at the east side of the Inani sea beach and the sea spreading out continuously to the west of the beach.

Coxsbazar Circuit House: It is a beautiful man made structure of the city and located 2 kilometers far from Laboni Sea Point.

St. Martin's Island: It is situated forty-eight kilometers from Teknaf Thana of Cox’s Bazar District. St. Martin's is the only coral island of Bangladesh. Calm, cool and blue water all around the island, looks like a piece of heaven in the Earth.

Maheskhali: It is an island off the coast of Cox's Bazar. The whole area of the island is about 268 square kilometers. The coast to the west and north of Maheskhali is a low-lying treat, fringed by beautiful mangrove jungle. In the hills on the coast is built the holy place of Adinath, dedicated to Shiva. It is also a peace land to the Buddhist for an ancient Buddhist Pagoda.

Way to go: The tourist city Cox's Bazar is connected both by air and road from Dhaka and Chittagong.

Flights are available from Chittagong and Dhaka on GMG Airlines, United Airways and Biman Bangladesh Airways. Daily flights are available during the peak season (October - April) but generally its drop back to 3-4 flights per week during the off- peak (May - September). The main bus terminal of the city is a few meters east of the central town area; it is about a 15 minute / Tk 20 rickshaw ride. Lots of AC and non-AC Bus services are available from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar hourly. Some admired buses are Green line (Scania) service, Shohagh paribahan, Soudia-S-Alam, TR Travels etc.

Food Heaven: There are lots of restaurants available near Hotel Motel Zone and beside sea beach as well. Most of these restaurants serve Bangladeshi foods and local dishes are usually far better and more delicious. Foreign foods like Western, Indian, Thai and Chinese are also available in major hotels and restaurants café. A huge number of tasteful curries cooked with proper spices and hot curry powders, such as Bhoona meat, Rezala, Korma and Masala beef, mutton curry, beef curry, Lamb curry, Chicken, fish and various types of shrimp. Food lovers can also enjoy different types of chicken items including Chicken Baghdadi, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Afghani, Chicken Kashmiri, boti kabab etc. Fish lover can’t avoid the test of Seafood and sweet-water fish. It is also available here and these are including fresh bhetki, smoked hilsa, lobster, king prawns, malaikari, and Prawn dopyaza.
